Dr. Jennifer Walden is the perfect ambassador for female empowerment. This extraordinary woman has conquered the field of cosmetic surgery, and she has a long list of satisfied customers. The Austin-native was an all-state soccer player back in her youth, but when she graduated from Anderson High School, her next goal was to pursue a career in cosmetic surgery. The University of Texas was her first stop along this long journey and thanks to her brilliant undergraduate education, she was able to attain a B.A. in Biology. In addition to that, Walden got a chance to work at the prestigious Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami. While at this location, she was able to learn about the business from some of the industry’s leading plastic surgery.
On the other hand, Walden would obtain her fellowship from the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, but she would first attend the University of Texas Medical Branch. She earned a M.D., here as she graduated with honors as well as graduated as her class’ salutatorian. While living in New York City, Walden participated in many industry-related projects. She was one of the main individuals that pushed for the reintroduction of silicone-breast implants. Her persistency has paid-off in a big way thanks to her releasing copious amounts of clinical trials.
